“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.” Isaiah 41:10
Hello! My name is Allison and welcome to my little world!
I’m so glad you found me! I’m a twenty – something woman just trying to survive as a mix of an old soul, and a millennial.
I have a huge passion for helping people and animals.
I am currently a Veterinary Assistant at a local animal clinic, and am loving it! Being around animals all day, every day, is truly a dream come true for me!
I graduated college in 2015 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations & Marketing, but am now enrolled in becoming a Licensed Veterinary Technician.
I was a full time travel agent for the last year and a half, and because of that, I have a newfound love of traveling the world. And, I want to share my knowledge & experiences along the way!
I love my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Throughout all of the ups and downs in my life, God has been my ultimate safe haven. He has sheltered me from storms, and at times, walked right next to me as I went through them. He is my source of strength, and my greatest hope in this world.
I love The Golden Girls, Disney, country music, singing, laughing, blogging, children, my family, and animals. But, not necessarily in that order.
If you want to, and I hope you will, give a poke around the site to learn more of my favorite things….like, raindrops on roses, or whiskers on kittens.
So, grab a glass of wine and come along with me on my journey. As I continue to untangle the puzzle of me, I want to share that with you all too! 🙂

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
You showed me, when I was young just how to grow. You showed me, everything that I should know. You showed me
just how to walk without your hands, ’cause mom you always were the perfect fan.
Mark Twain said it best: “Age is an issue of mind over matter. If you don’t mind, it doesn’t matter.”
